Pediatric and Geriatric care
Growing and aging are both times when pets need extra care.

Pediatric patients

Young pets have unique needs. They are growing and their bodies change almost daily. Preventive care like exams and vaccinations, and more importantly, learning that going to the vet is FUN is important for every young pet.

  • Comprehensive wellness visit and exam with the doctor
  • A series of vaccinations to protect against diseases
  • Early Learning Plan for exposure to different experiences, people and other pets for social development
Did you know? Euthanasia due to behavior problems is the number one cause of death of pets under age 7?
  • A stool sample test to assure any parasites are treated appropriately.
  • A heartworm test will be needed at 6-months of age.

  • Individualized dieteary recommendation
  • Kitten
  • Senior patients

Senior patients deserve special attention. Joints do not hold up over time, and can become stiff or sore. Brain aging affects training and everyday cognitive functions like recognizing family members and housetraining behaviors.

Senior patients often develop lumps and bumps that deserve special attention and are best treated preventively rather than reactively. Furthermore, they have additional dental needs to keep their teeth fit for use into the golden age.
