I was very impressed with our service at the clinic. Having just added little Cinder to our family (and not having had a puppy in the house in many years) I had a number of questions. All were answered thoroughly and with no rush. I feel confident in starting our vet care with your office and won’t hesitate to call when I have a concern. Thank you!
Extremely service focused and followed through on their promises
Dr. Crocker provides exceptional are to my pets!
Door to door service by Dr. Mulvaney. Clear, concise, explanations of treatment plan, AND Dr. Mulvaney even did a post-op visit to our house the next day. These are advantages to being her mom… Best of all though, Boots is doing great and healing quickly!
Everyone was kind, helpful and understanding. Coco is a nervous dog and everyone did their best put all of us at ease.
Any animal traveling outside Western Washington, and any animal with high exposure to other animals should take heartworm prevention medication. Heartworm is very easy to prevent by simply giving 1 chewable tablet to your dog once-a-month. Heartworm preventive medications are available right here at Mercer Island Veterinary Clinic, and require a doctor’s prescription.
An extra benefit of heartworm preventive medications is that they also prevent intestinal parasite infections like roundworm, hookworm and whipworm, which are quite prevalent here on Mercer Island. Some of these parasites are also transmissible to humans, so it is always a good idea to have your pets regularly dewormed, particularly if there are children in the home.
Please join us in keeping our pets as safe as possible. Have your dogs tested for heartworm once a year, and use heartworm prevention for dogs with a higher risk of infection.
